episil® oral liquid has a mechanical action indicated for the management and relief of pain in the oral cavity, rapidly soothing oral lesions of various aetiologies by adhering to the mucosal surface. episil® oral liquid is also used for preventing the risk of painful and inflammatory conditions of the mouth such as oral mucositis/stomatitis (which may be caused by chemo and radiotherapy).
There are no known risks or side effects. However, episil® oral liquid contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), which may cause a short, temporary burning sensation when applied to affected areas in the mouth. The product should not be used if a patient is allergic to any of its components. If there are any noticeable side effects of episil® oral liquid, the treatment should be discontinued.

Instructions for use
episil® oral liquid is administered into the mouth using the pump and liquid is distributed in the oral cavity, for example by swirling and using the tongue. The nozzle can be directed towards affected areas in the mouth. The dose volume is small, 0.15-0.45 ml which corresponds to 1-3 pump strokes, and it is important to allow a few minutes for the liquid to gel and the protective barrier to form.
Recommended dose: 1-3 pump strokes, 2-3 times per day or as needed.
